Mohale Orphan Support Association
Mohale Orphan Support Association (M.O.S.A.) is a small sponsorship program initiated by Belinda Laidley-Collias, who spent two years as a Peace Corp Volunteer in Lesotho.  Lesotho is a small mountainous country located within the Republic of South Africa.  Belinda taught high school kids and worked with HIV/AIDS patients at a clinic in the rural village of Ha Mohale, where most people survive on subsistence farming and live without electricity or running water.

M.O.S.A provides scholarships to children in the village of Mohale who are orphans or otherwise affected by HIV/AIDS and poverty and lack the financial means to attend high school.  We are looking for U.S. sponsors to help these children to get an education, food, and a safe place to live.  M.O.S.A also funds projects to benefit the community, such as gardens for AIDS orphans, family-to-family sponsorships, and improvements to local schools.
